MSP® is an acronym for Managing Successful Programmes. The MSP qualification provides a framework whereby large, complex change can be broken down into manageable, inter-related projects.

The MSP training course is popular with programme managers and project teams. It offers a company the following benefits:

  • Alignment with the company's business goals
  • Provides a solid structure for achieving programme benefits
  • Boosts stakeholder engagement and participation
  • Provides a flexible change management framework
  • Achieves changes on time and within budget

The MSP certification at foundation level introduces the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) method and the terminology used. The Foundation MSP course ensures you understand the MSP guidance well enough to work in a team to deliver or manage a programme. It means you can act as an informed member of a programme office, project delivery team or business change team working within an environment supporting MSP.

The Foundation MSP qualification is invaluable for individuals who are interested in learning how to manage multiple projects and programmes successfully. It is designed to support programme or project managers, people working in a programme office, business change managers, and programme and project delivery team members who wish to gain a greater understanding of the MSP guidance to work more effectively in large scale project or programme environments.

Taking the MSP training qualification at Foundation level is a great start to your Programme Management career. You must pass your Foundation exam before completing your Practitioner exam. If you would like more information on the differences between the two levels on the MSP course or want more information on the type of Managing Successful Programme courses we run, get in touch to find out more.
