The PRINCE2 London F&P Combined Course (Foundation and Practitioner) is our best selling PRINCE2 course package in the UK capital. In just four days in our beautiful PRINCE2 London venue, you will be a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner allowing you to run a PRINCE2 project as the Project Manager. You will cover all of the PRINCE2 syllabi on the course and take the PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner Level exams. Our FAQs below give further details on learning outcomes from the course.
Our PRINCE2 course in London is always in high demand. We have delegates from across the UK attending our PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner courses in London. There is a huge demand for PRINCE2 Project Managers in London across banking, media, construction and the public sectors, to name a few. Delegates come from diverse backgrounds across London, from the West end to the east of Canary Wharf.
The job market in London has a high demand for project managers and more generally PRINCE2 project staff. Not everyone who attends our PRINCE2 course in London will be a project manager and that's ok. There are an entire host of roles that make a project run efficiently and the Project manager is just one of those roles. If you work in a PRINCE2 project environment and would like to gain further confidence in the subject, then the foundation level would be a perfect fit. You can always come back and take the PRINCE2 practitioner level at another time.
The PRINCE2 Foundation qualification London is intended for project managers and aspiring project managers. It is also relevant to other key staff involved in the design, development and delivery of projects, including project board members (e.g. senior responsible owners), team managers (e.g. product delivery managers), project assurance (e.g. business change analysts), project support (e.g. Project and Programme Office personnel), and operational line managers/staff.
The PRINCE2 Practitioner takes things up a level and will test whether you can apply the PRINCE2 method to a real-life project scenario, as outlined by Axelos in their sample business scenario. Passing the PRINCE2 Foundation exam is a prerequisite for the PRINCE2 Practitioner level exam, which assesses the ability to apply an understanding of the PRINCE2 project management method in context.
The PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner course in London covers the necessary content for both levels of the qualification and will enable you to run a PRINCE2 project by the end of it. It includes some of the following:
- Explaining the PRINCE2 methodology and the core PRINCE2 principles.
- How to explain and apply the 4 PRINCE2 integrated elements.
- Further details on PRINCE2 tailoring and how to embed PRINCE2 in a real project scenario.
- The famous PRINCE2 themes and why you need them: Business Case Theme, Organization theme, Change theme and Progress, Quality, Risk, Plans themes.
- Explaining what does it means when we say the PRINCE2 Themes support the Principles.
- A detailed definition of PRINCE2 Themes and how you can apply them in your organisation.
- The distinction between PRINCE2 Project and Management Products.
- Outlining key roles and responsibilities in a PRINCE2 Project.
- The need for clearly defined management products.
- PRINCE2 teaches management by exception. But what does that mean in practice?
The purpose and objectives of the PRINCE2 processes:
- Starting up a Project Process (SU)
- Directing a Project Process (DP)
- Initiating a Project Process (IP)
- Controlling a Stage Process (CS)
- Managing Product Delivery Process (MP)
- Managing a Stage Boundary Process (SB)
- Closing a Project Process (CP)

We are so confident that you will pass your PRINCE2 Foundation exam with us after attending one of our courses, that we offer you a free resit if you don't pass the exam first time. It is limited to one free resit and is valid as long as you have attended a PRINCE2 Foundation course of ours in full.
Our PRINCE2 courses include everything you need to pass the PRINCE2 exams, including the official Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 publication (2017 Edition), our course slide manual and PRINCE2 exams. Read our full guide here on PRINCE2 Course Cost and what's included.
Our course has been carefully tailored and condensed into 4 days, we cover the full PRINCE2 syllabus, in reality, the 5th day with other providers is only the practitioner exam so there's no extra teaching, it finishes at 12 pm on the Friday of their course. We feel its just a more efficient use of your time to do it this way. Many other providers also now make you do the exam online at home, all our exams are taken in the classroom.
You will need to do at least 2/3 hours homework every evening, based on your tutors advice. This will be a combination of reading and sample exams. Your tutor will help you as much as possible, but ultimately you need to do the practice exams and questions on your own to really get to grips with the syllabus and exam style.
You will receive our excellent PRINCE2 PDF pre-reading when you confirm your booking with us. It will take around 3-4 hours to complete. We strongly recommend completing the pre-reading as there is a lot of content to cover on the PRINCE2 course.
Hard copies of the following will be provided at the venue for you: the official Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 publication (2017 Edition), Course slide manual and PRINCE2 practice exams.
